What is the difference between jobber and OEM parts?

Jobber parts are stock, aftermarket secondary parts that are not made by the original manufacturer of your vehicle. The aftermarket industry make up 80% of the parts used in vehicle repair, however, parts are not all made equally, and therefore the quality varies by quite a bit.

OEM parts, or Original Equipment Manufacturer, are automotive parts which are manufactured by the same company that produced the original part used in assembly.
